About the Artist

I'm Shruti, a multidisciplinary artist based in North Somerset, specialising in hand-painted murals and digital art.
Born in India, art has been an anchor in my life for as long as I can remember. 
My mural work emerged from a deep love of painting and a fascination with aesthetics across art, design, and interiors. 

I began by transforming the walls of my own home, experimenting with colour, composition, and scale. What started as a single instinctive idea has since evolved into a body of work that brings vibrancy to 
overlooked spaces, champions community connection, and encourages conversations surrounding mental health and the natural world.
Through word of mouth, my practice has continued to grow organically.
When certain briefs feel more restrictive, I explore themes inspired by wild swimming, health, and wellbeing. 
Detail plays an essential role in my work, and my style often carries a subtle naive quality. My work frequently depicts vivid scenes filled with bold colour palettes, intricate patterns, and an abundance of foliage.

As my creative journey has expanded across large-scale mural painting, public art commissions, workshops, and collaborative community projects, I have remained committed to finding meaningful ways to tell authentic stories rooted in my culture.
